My Lord, Make This Land Secure

The prayer for safety and tranquillity takes shape within a calligraphic composition in which the relations between letters, masses and spaces come together. In reading the work, the text opens a space to reflect on the bond between a person and the place to which they belong.

The work was shown at the 11th Sharjah Calligraphy Forum in 2024 and received the Al Owais Award for Creativity in 2025. Othman Hassan discussed it in a critical reading titled "Thuluth Jali: The Loftiness of the Letter and the Majesty of Composition", published in Al Khaleej newspaper on 5 July 2026.
