Tolerance
Tolerance draws its idea from the astrolabe, linking the knowledge of direction with finding one's way to treating people well. The composition carries the verse "And speak to people good words", so that its circles and intersecting paths meet a human meaning founded on the kind word.
The work invites the viewer to come close and read its presence from several sides. As the angle of view changes, the relationship between letters and space shifts, and the viewer's movement becomes part of the experience.

The idea and first production began in 2019; the piece was re-produced with refinements in 2022. The version shown here is the 2022 edition.
