Orbits of the Letter

Words and letters wind around a vertical axis, joined by bands of colour whose relationship to space changes as the viewer moves. The winding gives the work multiple readings and makes the letter a structure standing in space.

The work is read alongside Celebration, where the relationship between movement and openness continues in another medium. Their juxtaposition lets one trace the link between sculpture and painting within the same project.
