Mahmood Al Abadi worked with the design team, writing all of the mosque's calligraphic inscriptions and designing the unified visual pattern used throughout. The experience combines knowledge of the letter with an understanding of its presence in architectural space and identity applications.
The project began in 2016 and was completed in 2017. Site photographs show the inscriptions and geometric compositions across the façades, the prayer hall and its elements.
